Assistant Manager
Summary of Position
To provide an excellent customer experience that is unique to each customer at all times and to assist the Retail Operations Manager or Store Manager with aspects of wireless sales, service and operations management. The majority of your time will be spent in the Wireless Retail Consultant function and the remainder of your time will be spent in assisting with the management functions.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Provide day to day customer consultation in relation to wireless hardware, software, accessories, and price plans
-Assist Management, as well as guide and look after the efficiency of the employees that are part of the TELECO Team.
-Assist Management with inventory control, rectifying the complaints of the customer, supervising the daily work.
-Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of wireless products and services
-Be able to perform most job functions of the Retail Operations Manager or Store Manager, when needed.
-Help with the development of policies and procedures.

Landline Technician, Entry Level
Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario

Job Description:
TELECO has an immediate opening for an entry level telecommunications technician. You should have a basic knowledge of equipment assembly, installation and repair with the ability to interpret instructions and specifications.
You will be required to work both in and outdoors, able to withstand the physical requirements which include working from ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts and working in small places. You must be able to lift equipment or parts weighing up to 60 pounds.
Experience not necessarily required but an asset. Preferred knowledge in business telephone installations and programming, network cabling, and IP Telephony. Basic electrical hand tools required for completing your tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong hardware and software troubleshooting ability is required. Valid driver's license is required and own vehicle also an asset.
This is a Monday to Friday daytime position but you may be required to work outside standard business hours when necessary.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the direction of the SMB Team Leader, the SMB Business Consultant will ensure an excellent customer experience is provided to all corporate/business customers with regards to their wireless products and services.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Uncover new business/opportunities within the SMB space through cold calling, networking, referrals, and account growth.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts
• Keep accounts updated and informed of TELECO Rogers events, hardware, and solutions that are impacting
• Provide updates and account progress to SMB Team Leader
• Utilize sales tools / account tracking tools as requested by management
• Keep up to date on FastTrack training
• Attend all scheduled SMB team meetings
• Attend Rogers training and any other training specified by the SMB Team Leader
• Maintain up to date account records
• Keep all invoicing up to date and in a timely matter


QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic knowledge of wireless products and wireless networks
• Experience in a sales/ customer service setting is an asset
• Ability to apply subject matter knowledge to resolve general support issues
• Ability to listen and communicate with both technical and non-technical persons
• Act as a team member by providing information and support to all team members
